How to search for a customer in your Dataships database

You can search for a data subject/customer in the Dataships database. All of your data subjects who either signed up to your privacy center or have been imported into the system will be listed in the Dataships database.

To search for a customer

1. Login to your Dataships account via the Control Panel (here):
   1. Enter your e-mail address in the Email field and click Continue.
   2. Enter your password in the Password field and click Sign in.
2. Click Customer. It can be found towards the top left of the screen along the menu bar.
3. In the search bar, enter the email address of the customer you wish to find and click the Search button. N.B. you do not have to enter the full email address for the search to work. 
4. If there is any record associated with that email address, it will appear in the table. Click on the Details button of the customer you wish to see.
5. Expand the different tabs on the page and/or click on the different apps to see their data held in the systems.
