How to transfer ownership of an account to another team member

Account holders can let another team member take ownership of an existing Dataships account.

How to transfer ownership of an account

  1. Login to your Dataships account via the Control Panel (here):
    1. Enter your e-mail address in the Email field and click Continue.
    2. Enter your password in the Password field and click Sign in.
  2. Click on the Settings icon on the top right corner.
  3. Switch to the Account Management page from the left.
  4. Switch to the User Management tab. 
  5. Each tab on this page represents the Accounts connected to your email address. Expand the tab where the user is listed. 
  6. Click on Details on the user's record that you would like to update. 
  7. Under the Make Owner of the account section, click on the Transfer Ownership button.
